The bronx’s zoo is one of the largest zoos in the United States. The variety of animals (more than 6,000) provides a whole day family attraction. It is recommended to take the Monorail that reaches places where one can’t reach by foot. For your convenience there are coffee shops, resteraunts and resting areas.

In the winter time you can find the spectacular blossom of the red Anemone and other colorful flowers in the north part of the Negev.

Prospect Park is located at the center of Brooklyn, near the zoo, the Botanical Gardens, the Museum of Art and the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Memorial Arch in Garden Army Plaza. This is a huge park that streches over more than two squared kilometers and the lawn in it is the largest among all US public parks’ lawns. In the park are walking treks, running and bicycling, a lake at the size of 240,00 squared-meters, and a hill that is considered to be the heighest point in Brooklyn. Many of the town residents come to the park to relax and spend time, among them are some painters in the beginning of their careers, like the art students we met during our tour. Not far from the park, on the wall on Washington ave. we found a painting of the Colombia spaceship crew who died while coming back to earth
